La Casita in Camp Verde

Small town excellent fresh Mexican food and quick friendly service that doesn’t disappoint! They have the best fresh veggie burrito I’ve ever had and it’s all I order! My husband likes their chili relleno for good flavor with rice and beans. It’s worth getting off the highway for those traveling through like we do!

Best Mexican food. I visit almost every time I am in camp verde. Never disappoints.

I had the chicken mole today and it is the farthest from authentic but everything else was good. The lunch menu prices are reasonable.

Food was great, the staff was amazing.. the only reason why i wouldn't give 5 star is because it had so MANY flies!! I felt like i was shoeing them away more then eating my food

Great place to have Mexican dinner with your family.Interior, taste, staffs and price. Everthing was great. Chips, salsa, main dishes were so tasty and volumy. Really popular restaurant and sometimes would be crowed.

Been to this place twice. My first experience was okay with the food. Not the greatest and my second time I had about 3 bites and couldnt do it. Our server on the second time didnt serve us as well as the other server we watched who constantly checked on her guests. The other meal served at the table was good and was enjoyed. For me it hasn't been that great but the other people at the table liked it. I guess its hit or miss pending on your taste buds. Still will give them another try when I'm in the area.

The food and margaritas are great! We always come here for brunch on our way back to Phoenix.

Good food. Was slightly greasy. They messed up my order once but as soon as I realised that I got the wrong order, I asked the manager to change it and he did. Polite staff. One thing weird about this place is that they charge extra for a refill of chips and salsa. With that being said, the chips and salsa and the beans tasted fantastic!

This is by far the best Mexican food place in Arizona. I mean the food here is absolutely terrific the chicken fajitas oh my goodness they are absolutely delicious.

Clean, cozy & friendly! We've been happily eating here for more than 6 years & find the food to be consistently fresh and well prepared. If COVID-19 wipes this joint out, we're finding a new town!! Muchas gracias mis amigas!

Great food and great service can be found here. It is a quaint, homey restaurant that always makes you feel welcome. If you are looking for fabulous a Mexican food and great prices, I would highly recommend you give La Casita a try!

Authentic Mexican food at good prices located right in Camp Verde! I've never been disappointed with the service or the food here. The inside is decorated beautifully as well.

Very nice place to eat. The decor is bright, the traditional Mexican music fits, and I enjoyed the food. The beans were memorable. The fish taco was pretty good, the spinach enchilada was great, as was the bean and cheese burrito. Friendly staff, decent range of beer. I'd go again.

Please remember we are from Texas so Mexican food is the best. This didn’t resemble Mexican food to us. The margaritas are watery and weak. The food wasn’t very good and the service was worst. Don’t go.

Cozy, fun restaurant with delicious food and outstanding service to match! This orange, small restaurant in Camp Verde is worth the trip. Instantly after walking through the door, my friend and I were greeted, sat, and drink orders filled along with chips, delicious salsa, and even a side of refried beans. Service was constantly friendly and super efficient throughout our meal. My steak fajitas were tender and well-seasoned especially compared to most places. This restaurant is perfect pit-stop between Phoenix and Flagstaff.

Nice dinning experience, excellent margarita bar and a real authentic fine dining experience. It's cozy and excellent Mexican cuisine. Family operated with lots of love and care into both service and the menu. Great Albondigus. :)

This is a great place to eat, great food and great service, definitely on my list of places to visit again.

Love the feel of the restaurant small family feeling. The staff was friendly and fast getting your drink and food order. The food was AMAZING I had the enchiladas Verde style with ground beef and the mango margarita was done just right. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! Great little place. Looks insignificant on the outside. Inside you get great service and terrific good.

Good service, good menu prices. House margarita was good, not very strong compared to other similar Mexican restaurants. Serve chips, salsa, and refried beans as appetizers which we like.

I'm giving this restuarant a 1 star not because of the food or service, which was actually quite good, but because of their price gouging. I spent the weekend in Camp Verde as a getaway from Phoenix and have enjoyed myself. The hotel I'm staying recommended La Casita for good Mexican food, and I'm always up for good Mexican food, so I had take out my first night. I was not disappointed. So, my second night I decided I would have their enchiladas again, but this time I dined in. To supplement my meal I chose their house merlot, which was barely 5 oz, and of average quality. The meal was sufficient to require a second glass, so I indulged.....went well with the meal. Having enjoyed myself, I was more than shocked to see my tab.....large meal was $13 and 2 small glasses of house wine was $34.....WOW....$17 per glass. I've never paid that in even a 4 star restaurant, and although the food was good, this is not an "any" star restuarant. Really think this was unfair and I'll never return.

Food was very good but waiter seemed very hyper, like the battery bunny. Good service tho...

Stopped in after hiking in the area and was happy we did!! Small and cozy but we had great service. They were even willing to make my margarita frozen :) Their salsa is so tasty - nice little kick! Also loved that they served beans with their chips. The flautas were a good portion size especially with rice and beans. Would definitely go back!

I liked how clean and quaint this place is. It seems popular with the locals but still not crowded with patron traffic. The food is good. My only regret is that after leaving a very generous tip, when I returned again for another visit/meal the next day, I got the same service as if I had just left 50¢ for tip the 1st time. No gratitude for returning, let alone tipping so well.

Great dinner and service! On our way back to Mesa from Grand Canyon and we went in 20 minutes before closing. They weren’t bothered and offered wonderful service and food! Thank you!

Awesome atmosphere. The burrito was ginormous. The dipping beans and salsa were wonderful. Classic beans and rice were very tasty. The homemade hot sauce was good, but not very spicy. Tasty steak tacos. The chicken mole was phenomenal. Fast service, bright wait staff. We would return!

worst mexican place i personally tried! we ordered a margarita but had a hair on it & then the waitress made a new one and again found a hair took my order wrong and ordered some shrimp ala mexicana & carne asada but it had no taste at all ! sorry but i tried way better ones !

Cool and cozy atmosphere. I had Tres Amigos. The Chili Colorado was great, Chile Verde meat was tender, flavor good. The Chili Rellano was okay. The Camarones special was excellent.

Just moved to camp verde and come here on a regular basis. Definitely recommend. Food, service, atmosphere is all excellent

This place has an amazing atmosphere. The food is so good. You wont be disappointed , lately it's our favorite. Try it ❤
